The profession massage therapy is growing at an amazing pace. However, most massage schools provide students with only the basic massage skills to be applied to mostly healthy people. Unfortunately this results in excluding most of the people who are under the care of other heatlh care providers. Dr. Welbes' massage therapy programs is the FIRST in the midwest that is designed to address the exclusion of people with health challenges. Students will learn to work with clients with musculoskeletal injuries such as: inflammation, spasms, contusions, strains, sprains, knee injuries, whiplash, tendinitis bursitis, frozen shoulder, and torticollis. They will learn to work with clients that have periperal never lesions of the radical nerve, ulnar nerve, Bell's Palsy, thoracic outlet syndrome, and carpal tunnel syndrome. They will learn to work with clients that have gastrointestinal concerns such as constipation, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. They will also learn to work with clients that have Fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, diabetes, cancer and chronic fatigue syndrome. The students will also be learning to work with clients after they had a C-section, abortion, surgery, mastectomy, breast reduction, breast implants, liposuction, face lifts, and reducing the apperance of scar tissue and cellulite.
Application are currently being accepted for day and evening classes. Tuition is $6,750.00 for the full TWELVE month program. Books, supplies and massage table are extra. There's never been a better time to get in on the ground floor of a profession that offers unlimited opportunities and rewards.
